Botanical and zoological gardens and nature reserves activities (91.040)

This SCA code includes activities and services for which entrance and/or other conditions for the commencement and pursuit of an activity are established. 

Regulations and conditions:

  • Nature Conservation Act

    An employee who performs, or is preparing for, professional work in nature protection for whom secondary, higher and higher professional education, must fulfil conditions which are verified by an examination. The nature protection supervisor is any adult citizen of the Republic of Slovenia with an authorisation under this act. The minister issues the authorisation to nature protection supervisors and voluntary supervisors after they pass the test, which is implemented based on the determined professional knowledge verification programme, which comprises the knowledge of regulations in nature preservation and general administrative procedure in the part referring to the execution of their authorisations.

    This applies to the following professions:

    protected area manager, nature protection professional, nature protection supervisor;
