Shunting team manager
A shunting team manager is an adult who is
professionally trained for performing the tasks of a shunter and a shunting
team manager, who is fit for the job in terms of physical condition and
language skills.
A shunting team manager is responsible for organising,
supervising and coordinating the work of a shunting team and for the correct
formation of train and communication in the process of shunting.
A shunting
team manager must ensure that brake tests are performed and that signals are
given in the process of shunting and must participate in securing shunting
paths.
A shunting team manager can work on a more demanding station only after
having worked for at least three months in stations where he or she had been
trained.
