Railway station master

A railway station master is an adult who is

professionally trained for performing the tasks of a railway station master,

who has adequate education and is fit for the job in terms of physical

condition and language skills.

A railway station master manages the traffic of

opposing and successive trains and operates switches on a station or a remote

controlled station. A railway station master is also responsible for the

operation of level crossing equipment to ensure traffic safety.
