Exposed workers in radiation activities

Workers who are exposed in their work to ionising

radiation must have adequate education, knowledge in the protection against

ionising radiation gained with the prescribed training, and a passed

professional examination in the protection against ionising radiation. If this

follows from the assessment of the protection of exposed workers, they also

have to take additional training related to a clearly specified source. The

scope of training must be indicated in the assessment of the protection of

exposed workers.

Workers must take a professional examination within six months

after they start working on the job of an exposed worker.
