Nature protection supervisor

A nature protection supervisor is an individual

who performs direct supervision in the environment.

A supervisor performs the

following tasks:

  • direct monitoring of the situation;
  • supervision of the implementation of protection regimes;
  • establishing the actual situation regarding violations of prohibitions and informing competent inspection bodies;
  • warning persons about protection regimes in order to prevent criminal acts.

When performing direct supervision in the environment, a supervisor must wear

the prescribed official insignia, licence and uniform.

A

public mandate needs to be acquired to perform these tasks.
