Radiological procedure operator
A radiological procedure operator can be:
- a doctor responsible for radiological procedure,
- a radiological engineer,
- a doctor specialised in other fields on whom the doctor responsible for radiological procedure has transferred the clinical responsibility or a part of it, if he or she is adequately trained for work with such sources and implementation of radiation protection measures and has proof of this.
In standard diagnostic radiological procedures for which assessment of received
dosages does not need to be provided, in addition to the persons referred to in
the preceding paragraph, a radiological procedure operator can also be a person
who has education of at least a short cycle higher education degree in health
care and who is trained for work with radiation sources and implementation of
radiation protection measures and has proof of this.
A radiological procedure
operator in dental medicine can be a
doctor of dental medicine or radiological engineer.
