Authorised repairer

An authorised repairer is an individual who

performs one or more activities:

  • checking for leakage and capture of gases and installation, maintenance and repair of stationary equipment for cooling and air conditioning and heat pumps;
  • installation and maintenance of fire extinguishers and installed fire extinguisher systems and checking for leakage and capture;
  • capture of fluorinated greenhouse gases in high voltage switch mechanisms;
  • capture of fluorinated greenhouse gases in air conditioning devices in motor vehicles.

An authorised repairer is obliged to issue a certificate on the performed leakage

check.

In order to perform the activity, an authorised repairer must have a

valid certificate, which is obtained with a passed test for an authorised

repairer.
