Decision on the recognition of professional qualification – veterinarian
The decision on the recognition of a professional qualification enables the individual to obtain a licence to perform a regulated profession in the Republic of Slovenia.
An individual who receives a decision on the recognition of a professional qualification for a veterinarian must lodge a claim for a decision on a veterinary licence at the Veterinary Chamber, and must obtain membership of this Chamber.
If the profession is not regulated in the country where the agent is located, the service provider must perform the services which they wish to provide in the Republic of Slovenia in their home country continuously or for at least 2 years in the previous 10 years before the veterinarian starts performing these services in the Republic of Slovenia.

- Citizenship certificate
- Evidence confirming that the person has not been prohibited from pursuing the activity
