Authorisation for implementing works and tasks in the technological process
The operator of a radiation or nuclear facility submits an application for verifying professional qualification and other conditions for their workers for acquiring the authorisations to perform works and tasks at jobs, indicated in the rules, i.e. for at least two months prior to the envisaged deadline for verifying professional qualification.
The application for the first acquisition of the authorisation, the operator must submit the following data and annexes for each candidate: name and surname, date, place, municipality and country of birth, citizenship, list of schools finished by the worker and reference numbers of appropriate certificates, certificate on passed initial professional training, data on work experience and the copy of the medical examination with the assessment of work ability for performing works and tasks.
The application for the extension of the validity of the authorisation, the operator must attach the following data: name and surname, date of birth, date and level of the latest verification of professional qualification, each termination or change of work and tasks at a radiation or nuclear facility, longer than three months and shorter than six months, data about passed regular permanent professional qualification and copies of medical certificates including the assessment of work ability.
The administration issues an authorisation to perform works and tasks for which they fulfil conditions based on the commission's report on successful verification of qualification and fulfilment of other prescribed conditions.
Based on the verification of the documented qualification of the worker, the commission proposes the duration of the authorisation validity. After the first acquisition of the authorisation, the commission proposes the validity of the authorisation for a period from 12 to 18 months and not longer than to 31 December of the following calendar year. At extension of authorisations, the commission proposes the validity of the authorisation for 27 months, if the candidate achieved from 80 to 90% of all points, or by five months, if the candidate achieved more than 90% of all points. The commission usually proposes the validity of the permit until 31 December.
The authorisation applies for an individual radiation or nuclear facility and for the works and tasks for which the verification of qualification was implemented and for which the conditions are fulfilled.
