After the first acquisition of the authorisation, the commission proposes the validity of the authorisation for a period from 12 to 18 months and not longer than to 31 December of the following calendar year. At extension of authorisations, the commission proposes the validity of the authorisation for 27 months, if the candidate achieved from 80 to 90% of all points, or by five months, if the candidate achieved more than 90% of all points. The commission usually proposes the validity of the permit until 31 December.

The authorisation applies for an individual radiation or nuclear facility and for the works and tasks for which the verification of qualification was implemented and for which the conditions are fulfilled.
